TORONTO - CHICAGO — Veteran relief pitcher J.P. Howell was more than happy to give up an hour of his time on Tuesday to chat with Roberto Osuna, who has struggled the last two games before coming up big in Wednesday’s game.
Howell, who recently returned from the DL because of a left shoulder injury, said they talked about pressure and stress and how to deal with culture shock of playing in the Big Leagues. The long talk suggested that Osuna, who missed a game some weeks back with what the team termed as being “anxious” may still be working out some issues.
