Home runs victimize Marco Estrada again in Blue Jays loss

BALTIMORE - Marco Estrada doesn’t appear to be the answer.

Sure, it’s just two starts into the veteran right-hander’s career as a member of the Blue Jays rotation but his history while starting for the Milwaukee Brewers isn’t a peg to hang your hopes on.

In 72 career starts, Estrada went 22-21 with a 4.24 ERA but the stat that jumps out is the 70 home runs he allowed.

Last year with the Brewers, Estrada appeared in 39 games including 18 starts and allowed a major league high 29 homers -- 27 of them while starting. Like they say folks, those are the facts.
