Goins' first triple of season helps Blue Jays rally past White Sox

Ryan Goins felt the emotion after putting the Toronto Blue Jays ahead in the sixth inning.

Goins’ two-out triple scored Steve Pearce in front of him to put the Jays ahead 4-3 en route to the 7-3 win. His blast to the gap in right-centre field was around the same line where Russell Martin his game-tying home run two at-bats sooner.

It was Goins’ first triple of the season.

“Any win is huge but that one right there to not get swept at home is big,” he said. “The first few days we didn’t play great.
