Gibbons 'changing things up' with Donaldson still out

Blue jays manager John Gibbons adjusted his batting lineup Saturday in an attempt to create a slightly different dynamic.

In the absence once again of Josh Donaldson, Ezequiel Carrera was moved up into the No. 2 hole from the bottom of the lineup. Michael Saunders moved down to the No. 6 hole, with Melvin Upton, Darwin Barney and Ryan Goins occupying the bottom three spots.

“To be truthful, it's just a matter of changing things up,” said Gibbons. “Break it up a little bit and maybe (Carera) can get on by using his speed, maybe play some hit and run.
