It's rare that a call is so bad, so wrong that a baseball manager's meltdown is justified.
But that appeared to be the case during a double-A game in Texas.
Frisco RoughRiders manager Joe Mikulik took issue with an umpire who incorrectly called his baserunner out during a play at the plate.
Amateur video clearly showed Midland RockHounds' catcher dropping the ball after attempting to tag out his opponent.
The umpire, though, didn't appear to see the ball fall out of the catcher's mitt, leading to an epic meltdown from Mikulik – including the punting of his shoe.
