Fantasy Fare: First-time first-rounders

Every year, in every fantasy league regardless of sport, rankings get jumbled as the players we follow meet expectations, exceed them or disappoint us with an off-year. Baseball was no different in 2016 and, while most players, as usual, have come in with close to their anticipated numbers, there have been enough significant swings to alter the early rounds of next spring’s draft. Names such as Bryce Harper, Carlos Correa and Buster Posey who were first- or second-round picks in most fantasy leagues six months ago, will likely fall out of that range next March. But who will replace them as fantasy team cornerstones?
