The Blue Jays' series opener against the Royals on Monday in Toronto was postponed due to ice falling on Rogers Centre from CN Tower, the club announced about 90 minutes before the scheduled first pitch of 7:07 p.m. ET. The clubs will play a traditional doubleheader on Tuesday, starting at 3:07 p.m.
The club was working to repair the damage to the stadium's roof, which was caused by falling ice from the tower, which sits next to the stadium.
Rogers Centre's Gates 1-6 are currently closed until further notice.
