MONTREAL - If you’re a Montreal baseball fan, the MLB Network’s new documentary on the Expos will put a big smile on your face and a small tear in your eye.
At least that’s the reaction I had last Saturday after being invited by the ExposNation fan club to the old Forum for an advance screening of The Colorful Montreal Expos, a documentary that debuted this week on the MLB Network, which ironically isn’t available yet in Quebec.
The 45-minute show brings back all the good and bad memories and if — like me — you grew up as a member of the Rusty Staub Fan Club, remember sitting in those 50-cent bleacher seats in left field at Jarry Park cheering for Le Grand Orange and getting The Peanut Man to throw you a bag from two sections over, you will thoroughly enjoy it.
