HOUSTON - Former Major League outfielder and baseball broadcast analyst Darryl Hamilton has been killed in an apparent murder-suicide in suburban Houston, police in Pearland said Monday.
Pearland police said they found the bodies of Hamilton, 50, and Monica Jordan, 44, at a home. The couple’s 14-month-old infant was found unharmed at the scene and was taken into the care of Texas Child Protective Services.
Hamilton’s body was found near the entry of the home and Jordan’s body was found in another area of the home. She apparently died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
“At this point it does not appear that there was any kind of struggle.
