SEATTLE -- Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson was ejected by home-plate umpire Chris Conroy for arguing a called third strike during the seventh inning of Monday night's game against the Mariners.
Donaldson initially took exception to the first strike of the at-bat vs. Seattle's Drew Storen, on a check-swing. The All-Star slugger exchanged words with Conroy but the at-bat continued.
Donaldson then became enraged at the final strike which came on a 92-mph fastball low in the zone. He immediately turned toward Conroy and was promptly ejected as the two men went face to face.
