Hockey Night in Canada's Don Cherry has waded into the Jonathan Papelbon-Bryce Harper debate.
Two days after Papelobon attacked Harper in the dugout, Cherry took to Twitter in support of the embattled pitcher.
Papelbon took issue with Harper, his Nationals teammate, after he failed to run out a pop fly in Sunday night's game against the Phillies.
When Harper returned to the Nats' dugout, he and Papelbon exchanged words before a melee ensued.
The team later suspended Papelbon for four games as a result of his actions.
Cherry lent his voice to the conversation Tuesday morning.
