Bo Schultz pitched through pain on Friday, but DeMarlo Hale was not overly concerned about the reliever's health afterward.
Schultz, who underwent hip surgery in the off-season, tossed 2 2/3 innings and did not give up a run as the Blue Jays worked through their bullpen in a 2-1, 19-inning loss against Cleveland.
"There was a number of guys who talked about cramps," said Hale, who took over when manager John Gibbons was ejected. "It was a long day. Humid, the roof was closed.
