Ross Atkins currently holds the title of vice-president of player personnel for the Cleveland Indians.
Normally, the vice-president of player personnel would rate an invite to his team’s organizational meetings.
Atkins either was not there or was not allowed to listen to detailed player reports on Indians players, according to two major-league executives.
Does that mean the Indians did not want him on site since they fear Atkins is likely headed to 1 Blue Jays Way as the next general manager of the Blue Jays?
Or was he stuck in traffic near Progressive Field?
