If there is something that sets this season apart as the Blue Jays come out of the all-star break, it is the level of consistency the team has been able to maintain over the first 91 games.
Now, every baseball season has its rhythm of ebbs and flows. At times, it looks as if a team, any team, will never win another game. At others, it appears as if it will never lose again.
This year, the Jays have been able to mute some of those extreme notes. Their longest losing streak has been five games and that has happened just once.
