BUFFALO, NY. _ The Buffalo Bisons came up just short in the rubber match against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Wednesday afternoon, falling 6-4 at Coca-Cola field.
A 28-pitch first inning shortened Arnold Leon‘s first start for Buffalo (11-15). Outside his run of three straight strikeouts in the second inning, the right-hander allowed two runs on seven hits.
Jon Berti put the Bisons ahead in the sixth inning with his first home run since being promoted from double-A. Andy Burns launched a two-run home run in the 5th, his second of the year.
