Brett Lawrie's back, but playing second base

Blue Jays fans will be revved up for the opening game against the Oakland A's on Tuesday, in great part to their recent play that has seen them win eight in a row, the last three over the weekend in New York against the hated Yankees.

As an added bonus Tuesday, Jays fans will get to pay their respects to former favourite Brett Lawrie, who will be playing his first game at Rogers Centre in an Oakland uniform.

Lawrie was one of the principal players in the off-season trade that brought Josh Donaldson to the Blue Jays, so we all know who's ahead on that deal at this stage of the game.
