Undrafted pitcher Jackson Rees will be the lone Blue Jays representative at the Fall Stars game tonight. Rees has dazzled in five fall appearances striking out ten without allowing a run in 6.1 innings of work. The 25-year-old has earned a save while only walking one batter for the Scottsdale Scorpions.
Rees went 5-2 with an impressive 0.73 earned run average in 39 games between Lansing and Dunedin this past season. The right-hander also whiffed 88 hitters in just 61.2 innings while also compiling 9 saves.
Mike Ellenbest has also enjoyed Fall League success in five appearances, the 25-year old has yet to surrender a run while fanning six in 7.
