According to an official team announcement, the Toronto Blue Jays have reinstated right-handed pitcher Ken Giles from the paternity list while also reinstating right-handed pitcher Clay Buchholz from the 60-day injured list.
As corresponding moves, the team has optioned RHPs Brock Stewart and Justin Shafer to the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons. Finally, the organization has designated RHP Nick Kingham for assignment in order to make room on the 40-man roster.
In another bit of organizational news, the team has advanced RHP Ryan Tepera‘s rehab assignment from High-A Dunedin to Triple-A Buffalo.
