TORONTO -- Luke Maile's walk-off single in the 10th inning gave the Blue Jays a 5-4 win and a sweep of the doubleheader against the Royals on Tuesday night at Rogers Centre.
Maile, who isn't known for his bat, hit a single to right field off Royals reliever Brian Flynn with the bases loaded. Toronto picked up its first extra-inning victory of the season after an 11-3 win in Game 1 of the twin bill.
Kevin Pillar started the 10th-inning rally with a one-out single past a diving Mike Moustakas at third base.
