Blue Jays: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is one step closer to the majors

The Toronto Blue Jays top prospect is recovering from an oblique strain he suffered during Grapefruit League action in spring training. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. saw action in four games for the Dunedin Blue Jays going 4-15 with a double (.267/.353/.333).

In all likelihood, Vladdy will make his MLB debut at the end of the month when he has a few games at Triple-A under his belt and service time is no longer a concern for the Jays brain trust.

Guerrero only suited up six spring training games before the injury so he is a little behind the eight-ball.
