Literally, a day after Marcus Stroman anointed both Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette major league ready, the third baseman proceeded to hit a majestic home run in a minor league spring training game. The best part of it may be the lack of reaction or movement from the left fielder who knew it was an instant adios off the bat.
The 19-year old has made one official appearance in Grapefruit League action this spring notching 4 hits in 5 at-bats. He also saw action versus the Canadian Junior National team over the weekend where he pocketed a couple more knocks however that game is considered an Exhibition game.
