Blue Jays storm back to beat Mariners

SEATTLE - The Toronto Blue Jays scored five unanswered runs in the final four innings Saturday to erase a three-run deficit and level their three-game series with the Mariners at a win apiece.

Chris Colabello delivered the decisive blow in the Jays' 8-6 victory, a two-run ninth-inning single to snap a 6-6 deadlock.

After Ezequiel Carrera’s two-run pinch-hit home run had tied the game in the top of the eighth, the Blue Jays loaded the bases with nobody out in the top of the ninth against Seattle closer Carson Smith. Josh Donaldson walked to lead off and then he went to third on Jose Bautista’s opposite field double.
