Dermody begins throwing bullpens
Lefty Matt Dermody, who missed the majority of the 2018 season (which he started with Triple-A Buffalo), is “back on the mound and throwing bullpens” at the Blue Jays’ minor league spring training camp, reports Keegan Matheson of Baseball Toronto. Dermody, 28, appeared in 23 games for the major league team in 2017, pitching to an ERA of 4.43 and striking out 15 in 22.1 innings.
