The Blue Jays, stuck right in the middle of numerous trade talks, are apparently willing to part with suspended closer Roberto Osuna, according to a report from USA Today’s Bob Nightengale. Nightengale mentions the Houston Astros as a possible destination for the 23-year-old from Mexico.
From an optical standpoint, the Blue Jays sure have their hands full in trying to respectfully deal with Roberto Osuna’s possible return to the team. Depending on the court proceedings, he could end up playing again for this team by the first week of August.
Recent interviews with Osuna’s attorney have suggested that his legal team is hard at work to try and get some sort of deal done to try and avoid any intense legal punishment.
