NEW YORK -- A pair of errors on a single play erased all the good that Francisco Lindor did with a home run to put the Indians on the board on Saturday afternoon.
In a rough fifth inning at Yankee Stadium, Lindor made both a fielding error and throwing miscue on a grounder from New York's Ronald Torreyes, helping put the Tribe behind, 4-1. The botched play came during an already trying inning for Indians starter Trevor Bauer, whose command woes -- he walked three in the frame -- contributed to the Yankees' big inning.
