Starting pitcher Drew Hutchison has been recalled from the triple-A Buffalo Bisons. The Blue Jays have recalled Drew Hutchison The 25-year-old Hutchison has been a consistent force atop the Bisons’ rotation, sitting near the top of the International League in strikeouts with a 6-3 record and 2.78 ERA. He last pitched on July 28th, throwing six innings of shutout ball against the Louisville Bats. Unlike the Cleveland Indians last night, Toronto did manage to avoid dipping into their other four starters as part of the bullpen effort.
