TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays will have a familiar face in their lineup as they prepare for another post-season run.
The Jays re-aquired catcher Dioner Navarro from the Chicago White Sox on Friday night for left-handed pitcher Colton Turner.
The 32-year-old Navarro returns to Toronto after signing with the White Sox in the off-season. He spent two years with the Blue Jays and recorded a .267 average with 17 home runs and 89 runs-batted in 193 games over that period.
The Venezuelan is batting .210 with six home runs and 32 RBI in 85 games this season.
