Blue Jays pitchers operating at franchise historic levels

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — - Nobody is saying, ‘I told you so’ but you know that just about everyone on the Blue Jays pitching staff, especially the starters, would like to.

Truth is, after all the offseason hand-wringing about the quality — or lack thereof — on Toronto’s pitching staff going into the 2016 season, it turns out they’re pretty good.

Okay, it’s only a 37-game snapshot and so many things can go wrong over a 162-game season, especially when you’re talking about pitchers’ arms, but it’s certainly worth stopping to admire that snapshot and say a quiet “Bravo.
