It was thought that third baseman Josh Donaldson would be activated for the start of the series with the Washington Nationals, however, the injured calf is still not 100 percent.

Donaldson attempted running the bases and sprinting but the former MVP was unable to answer the bell. The pending free agent has battled with shoulder and calf issues all season long which in all likelihood will hamper his offseason payday.
