As the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros kicked off Game One of the World Series last night at Chavez Ravine yesterday also marked the 25th anniversary of the Toronto Blue Jays franchise first Championship and the first ever baseball title north of the border.
The pitching duel between Clayton Kershaw and Dallas Keuchel was the fastest World Series game at 2:28 since Game four of the 1992 World Series between the Blue Jays and the Atlanta Braves. The Jays reigned victorious 2-1 in that 2:21 contest backed by the pitching performances of Jimmy Key, Duane Ward, and Tom Henke.
