Joe Biagini made his first start with the herd since his demotion last week as the Jays attempt to stretch “Big Joe” out once again. Biagini surrendered 2-runs in 3 innings of work while taking the loss at the hands of the Indianapolis Indians. The 27-year old struck out one and did not surrender a free pass in the shortened outing.
Coghlan Begins Rehab Assignment
Chris Coghlan began his rehab assignment as the designated hitter for the Dunedin Blue Jays last night going 1 for 3 with an RBI in his first game since being sidelined with a wrist contusion in mid-June.
