Roberto Hernandez was unsteady for the Bisons on Friday, allowing eight hits over his five innings of work with four earned runs against. Pat McCoy and Pat Venditte worked a clean inning each before lefty Colt Hynes surrendered one run on two hits in the eighth.
Dalton Pompey doubled in a 2-for-5 day with an RBI and run scored, Buffalo’s only multi-hit performance of the day. With Darrell Ceciliani back in the lineup and hitting second, Domonic Brown, Jesus Montero, and Matt Dominguez could see some increased run-producing opportunities in the coming weeks.
