The Bisons had a tough night against the New York Yankees’ triple-A affiliate, falling to a shutout pitching performance split between Tyler Cloyd and Conor Mullee of the RailRiders. For all the talent on Toronto’s top minor league roster, it’s been a slow process to get the wheels turning.
Third baseman Matt Dominguez had the only multi-hit day for Buffalo, going 2-for-3. The Bisons’ other three hits, all singles, went to Jesus Montero (.319 AVG), Andy Burns, and Jio Mier.
