Buffalo had trouble stacking up hits outside of the heart of their order. Matt Dominguez went 3-for-3, all singles, and Jesus Montero went 2-for-4 right behind him. A Junior Lake single was the lone RBI. He also stole his 10th base of the season.
Scott Copeland gave the Bisons another strong start, allowing just one earned run over five and a third innings. The right-hander, now back from pitching in Korea, allowed just four hits and struck out three. Chad Girodo took the loss, allowing two runs on three hits in just two-thirds of an inning.
