Blue Jays MiLB Report: Lavarnway goes deep twice

Junior Lake led the way offensively going 3-for-4 with three singles and Matt Dominguez contributed a pair of hits himself, but Buffalo couldn’t produce much from their 13 base-runners. A.J. Jimenez had the lone RBI on a double, his 12th of the season.

Roberto Hernandez pitched deep, allowing four earned runs on eight hits over seven and two-thirds innings, but fell victim to the home run ball twice. Pat Venditte took over from there, handling the final inning and a third while striking out two.

Ryan Lavarnway launched two home runs and drove in three as he continues to be an excellent minor league addition for the Blue Jays.
