The Herd was able to force extra innings in this one but the Red Wings bats came up big in the 10th. Daniel Palka hit a walk off two-run homer to secure the Red Wings win. Melky Mesa and Jesus Montero collected a pair of hit each. Matt Dominguez and A.J. Jimenez drove in the only Bisons runs. Casey Lawrence had a great start and was solid for 7.1 innings. Lawrence only allowed one earned run on five hits and struck out five. Aaron Loup tossed 1.0 inning and struck out all three batters he faced. Bo Schultz followed and allowed all three of the runs to the Red Wings.
