The Bisons started their season off on the right foot with a 4-2 win over the RailRiders thanks to the offensive prowess of slugger Rowdy Tellez. The Blue Jays future first baseman swatted homers in his first two at-bats sending the first one to left centre field and then crushing a laser beam to right field for his second round-tripper of the contest.
Newly signed Chris Coghlan reached base four times chipping in with two hits and two walks for the herd.
