Brett Oberholtzer had a rough go in this one as he allowed 4 earned runs on 10 hits during the start. Oberholtzer was fresh off of a great start vs the Pawtucket Red Sox in which he allowed just 1 run in 6 innings of work. The Railriders hitters just kept hitting during this one and had 13 before it was over. Murphy Smith calmed the bats down for a while as he set down the Rail Riders for 2.1 innings. He would allow just 2 hits and strike out 2. Chris Smith would allow one run in the 9th on a solo home run to Rob Refsnyder who went 3-4 during the game.
