The Bisons were able to get the jump on Tides starter Gabriel Ynoa. The Herd would score 3 runs in the first 3 innings. Dwight Smith Jr. got things going with a solo home run to center field. The home run was Smith’s second of the season. Smith was not done there though. In the bottom of the second inning, he drove in a run on a single to center. Jason Leblebijian scored on the play. The 3rd run was scored on an Alex Monsalve line drive single. In the 8th inning the Bisons got the tack on run they needed to hold back the Tides.
