The Buffalo Bisons and Pawtucket Red Sox began their four game series on Monday, with the Bisons taking game one by a score of 6-3. With the win, the Bisons now sit with an awful season record of 58-70.
Brett Oberholtzer started the game for the Bisons, and the veteran gave the team a very good outing. The left-hander went six innings, allowing two runs off of six hits and one walk while striking out six. Oberholtzer has been up and down so far this season, posting a 3.98 season ERA.
John Stilson and Carlos Ramirez (1-0) were the only two pitchers who saw action out of the bullpen for the Bisons.
