CHICAGO - They say a change is as good as a rest.
In Marco Estrada’s case, the right-hander’s changeup is the best pitch in his arsenal and makes his low 90s fastball that much more effective.
Estrada has the best changeup on the Jays staff and has one of the best in the American League. The key is the deception as coming out of his hand it looks exactly like his fastball.
Estrada will be relying on that pitch once again when he makes the start Friday in Kansas City in the first of three games, the final three for the Jays before the all-star break.
