Blue Jays land Grichuk from Cards for 2 arms

The Blue Jays acquired outfielder Randal Grichuk from the Cardinals on Friday in exchange for right-handed pitcher Dominic Leone and righty pitching prospect Conner Greene, who was ranked as Toronto's No. 11 prospect by MLB Pipeline.

Grichuk, 26, appeared in 122 games for the Cardinals in 2017, posting a batting average of .238, with 22 home runs, 59 RBIs and an OPS of .758. The Rosenberg, Texas, native appeared in 57 games in left field, 55 games in right and five in center. Grichuk has a career batting average of .
