Jordan Groshans shared the exciting story with Adam Kloffenstein about two close friends who played high school baseball together, got drafted in the same season, by the same team and both signed instead of going the college route. Both have excelled and are two of the Blue Jays top prospects.
While Kloffenstein was drafted in the third round, the Blue Jays selected Groshans with the 12th overall pick in 2018 and he produced immediately in Rookie ball. He finished his first professional season with a .296 average, 18 extra base hits and 43 RBI in 48 games.
