Phelps throwing with “no issues”
RHP David Phelps, who was signed by the Blue Jays as a free agent this winter, is throwing with “no issues” after throwing in some live batting practice sessions, according to MLB.com’s Gregor Chisholm.
Phelps, 32, spent the 2018 season with the Miami Marlins and Seattle Mariners, pitching to an ERA of 3.40 in 55.2 innings, striking out 62 and walking 26.
Pompey still “feeling concussion symptoms”
According to Keegan Matheson of Baseball Toronto, outfielder Dalton Pompey is “still feeling concussion symptoms” after hitting his head on bats in his locker earlier this spring.
