Blue Jays Injury Update: Ryan Borucki, Ryan Tepera and more

That trend will continue throughout this injury report but there are some goods signs from a 25-year-old left-hander that the Blue Jays rotation could desperately use as the season drags on.

Ryan Borucki, the Blue Jays second best pitcher in 2018 according to fWAR, played some long toss and stretched it out to 120 feet. Borucki will throw his first bullpen Friday on his road back to Toronto and Baseball Reference expects him to be out until at least early July as he continues to build his arm strength back up. Originally, the inflammation in his left elbow wasn’t considered serious but ended up landing him a spot on the 60-day IL.
