The Toronto Blue Jays added another moving piece to their bullpen puzzle today with word that Marco Estrada would be available to make a relief appearance in Toronto’s fifth and deciding game. Estrada started game three of the series on Saturday, going 6.1 innings while allowing one run on five hits and striking out four.
Estrada has made 89 career relief appearances and owns a 4.09 ERA coming out of the bullpen with a 1.216 WHIP, both numbers slightly above his averages as a starter. Opposing hitters have managed a triple-slash of .231 / .
