The Blue Jays acquired Forrest Wall along with Chad Spanberger and Bryan Baker at the trade deadline back in 2018 from the Colorado Rockies in exchange for reliever Seunghwan Oh. The 24-year old Spanberger was then shipped to Milwaukee this past offseason for pitcher Chase Anderson.
Wall came into camp this spring as an afterthought for an outfield gig as all the outfield talk was focussed around Anthony Alford, Derek Fisher, and Billy McKinney. However, after a solid season in Double-A last season, the 24-year old has definitely turned some heads in Dunedin.
