As we wait on the Blue Jays to do something with their 2018 roster (anything!!), we may as well celebrate a minor deal that went down on Friday. The Pittsburgh Pirates handed a MiLB deal to former Blue Jay reliever, Bo Schultz, according to Chris Cotillo of SBNation.
Schultz is coming off Tommy John surgery, which he had in March of last year, so it’ll likely take awhile before he’s ready to pitch in the Pirates organization. He was injured before the regular season began in 2017, and last appeared with the Blue Jays in 2016, when he made 16 appearances and pitched to a 5.
