The Jays were sellers at the trade deadline adding prospects Santiago Espinal, Forrest Wall, Chad Spanberger, Billy McKinney, David Paulino, Hector Perez, Jacob Waguespack and Corey Copping to their minor league arsenal in exchange for major league talent.
The additions propelled the Jays from seventh into the fifth spot in the MLB Pipeline’s newest rankings. The Jays only trailed the likes of the San Diego Padres (1), Atlanta Braves (2), Chicago White Sox (3) and Tampa Bay Rays (4) on the list.
