Roberto Osuna was greeted by a chorus of boos from the crowd of just over 23,000 on Monday night. The former Blue Jays closer was summoned from the bullpen to begin the bottom of the 9th inning however the reception from the crowd was cut short as Osuna had to return to the pen while the Astros challenged a play from the top half of the inning.
Once the play was eventually reviewed, Osuna made his second entry into the game to an even louder serenade of boos. The Jays fans didn’t let up there as they continued to express their discontent with every pitch.
